1972 marks a big day in glam rock history when David Bowie sang “Starman” on Top of the Pops which stuck around in the charts for 11 weeks.
So “Starman” is this week’s song pick! The song was released in 1972 and it was Bowie’s first hit single. It’s a really cool song with a great message and it’s sure to get you pumped up.
Personally, I don’t know what kind of shape society would be in today if David Bowie hadn’t introduced us to the cosmic enigma that is “Starman”, watching over us and “waiting in the sky”, teaching us to let loose and to “let all the children boogie
